Patricia Heaton was born in Bay Village, Ohio. After graduating from Ohio University and achieved a degree in drama, in 1980 she then moved to New York City to study drama. She made her first Broadway drama debut in the chorus Don’t Get God Started in 1987. Later she made her first TV appearance as a guest in Alien Nation, Matlock, Party of Five, The King of Queens, and Danny Phantom. Her first role in movie is in Memoirs of an Invisible Man. Her notable work is in CBS sitcom’s Everybody Loves Raymond as Debra Barone which leaded her to win Prime time Emmy Award.
