After graduating from Catholic University of America in studying drama, she made her appearance in several regional and dinner theater productions. After getting married she moved to New York City and worked as a stand-up comedian in venues and comedy clubs. Her television debut began when she had her own show My Wildest Dreams, a FOX station sitcom. She also played roles in Bruce Almighty (2003), Shall We Dance (2004), and The Parent Trap (2008).
