Aleksandra Bechtel is a German TV-presenter and personality who was one of the first VJs for German videoclip and music channel VIVA. From 1996 to 1998, Bechtel starred with Matthias Opdenhövel in the TV-show Bitte lächeln on RTL II. She also hosted the German Big Brother. Born Aleksandra Martha Justine Bechtel on October 1, 1972 in Hilden, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, she is the daughter of a German lawyer and a Finnish teacher. She started working for the new TV channel VIVA Germany as a VJ in 1993. She has been married to Alexander Lassen since 2006. They have two sons together.
