While she was on the set of “Lost,” an electrical problem caused her house in Kailua, Hawaii to burn down and she lost all of her possessions.

Evangeline was born August 3, 1979 in Fort Saskatchewan, Canada. She worked as a flight attendant to pay for her school. After few less important roles, she became worldwide famous as Kate Austen on TV show Lost. She also appeared in 2011 movie Real Steel and should be starring as elf Tauriel on 2013’s The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.
